Kashae Garland 

Kashae joined the ‘Steenth Street Project in the summer of 2021 until she graduated from Villanova University in 2022. During her time, she created Dunbar Day for the university's LGBTQ+ Pride Week in the Spring of 2022 where she led a conversation about Alice Dunbar's work and how it shows who she was as a queer woman. She is currently a 2L student at Widener University Delaware Law school and works at an asbestos firm in Philadelphia.
